Penis Curvature: Through surgery it is possible to correct a congenital or acquired malformation that bends or curves the penis upward or downward, to the left or the right while erect.
Congenital curvature:
When the patient was born with a curved penis or during growth the penis curves.
Peyronie's disease: When the curvature or the change on its anatomy are associated to diabetes, traumatisms, penis fractures or as a consequence of urethral tubes. Often in these cases the curvature does not allow penetration and/or the erection.
How is a penile curvature correction performed?
By means of this cosmetic process, skin tension lines that hold the penis are corrected.
Hospitalization: No hospitalization needed, outpatient treatment.
Anesthesia: Local, with complementary sedation, or general.
Surgery length: Between 90 minutes to 2 hours.
