Why Plenitas?
Plenitas is a medical organization that provides medical services and treatments in Argentina to people living in other countries.

Plenitas' main goal is to provide the patient a complete service, and not merely to schedule an appointment with a physician or sign the patient up for a treatment. Plenitas offers much more. Our role is to guide the patient that arrives in Argentina for medical treatment from the moment he/she gets off the plane until he/she gets back home.

Plenitas provides a variety of medical treatments. In order to make it easier for our patients, we offer a standard trip package for each treatment that includes accommodation, transportation and personal assistance service (the price that appears on the treatment's page corresponds to the standard package).
However, the patient may request variations of the standard package: the patient may choose to undergo two or more treatments on the same trip, to travel with a friend or relative, or request different accommodations. If you wish to make any changes on the standard package, we suggest you to visit the section of our site called Plan Your Medical Trip and follow the instructions. This will help us offer you a personalized medical trip that will be more adequate to your needs.
We may offer you a variety of tourist trips to visit different areas of Argentina. If you have applied for a surgical treatment, we recommend you to plan your tourist trip for the days before the treatment, since it is quite probable that you will have to remain in bed for a few days after the surgery.
Payment Options
Since we provide quite complex services that need to be hired in advance, we are forced to charge 50% of the package's total cost for making the necessary reservations.
Once everything is agreed on (the physician, the treatment the patient will undergo, the stay and the extra services, if requested), the patient will have to pay the remaining 50% of the total package's cost. This payment must be made 15 days before the trip.
The payments may be made by a bank transfer or via Western Union. As soon as the patient requests it, our customer service advisers will send him/her the information needed in order to make the transaction by any of the described means.
Price Policy
In many occasions, our patients have mentioned that when they first learned about Plenitas the first thing that called their attention was the fact that the prices were so low. They told us that this led them to believe there was some kind of trick or catch.
But it is not about that. The thing is that some countries have very low prices when compared to other countries, and this has to do with the exchange rate. This is why it is always advisable to look at the prices of products available in both the country where we live and the one we are going to visit. This way we will know if we are going to an expensive country or not. For example: a Big Mac in the US costs U$S 3 whereas in Argentina it costs U$S 1.6. The Big Mac is exactly the same, but the price is related to the economy of the country where it is sold.
Therefore, it is only natural that a person whose salary is paid in dollars or euros will find that, economically speaking, Argentina is a very convenient destination. Especially as regards health care, since the costs of health care in industrialized countries is quite excessive.
We believe Plenitas is a good option for people who seek high quality medical treatments, controlled sanitary environments and, at the same time, take good care of their savings. We also believe that the services we provide may be a good alternative for people who need to undergo a medical treatment with relative urgency and who will otherwise be risking their health due to the fact that the social security system of their own country does not have available appointments to offer them. |
