Before Brow Lift surgery: Tips




  • Once in Buenos Aires, an assistant provided by Plenitas will take you to the lab in which the clinical analyses and the surgical risk evaluation will be performed. By performing the analyses in Plenitas' lab, we can be sure of getting a reliable result, that is presented in the language that Argentine physicians know best, in the metric system that they are most familiar with and according to the current standards of the medical clinics of the country.
  • It is advisable that you ask your surgeon whatever questions you may have so as to do away with all those doubts and fears so common for those who are about to undergo surgery. Plenitas and its medical team will gladly answer all the questions you may want to ask before your trip and during the personal interview before the surgery.
  • It is advisable that you write down all the questions you may have prior to the interview, so that you will be able to read them to the physician and get answers for all of them.
  • Remember that smoking reduces the body's oxygenation, and insufficient oxygenation may result in complications after the surgery. For example, slower healing of wounds, thicker and more visible scars, and even skin necrosis in the area around the wounds. Therefore, if you are a smoker, we strongly recommend you not to smoke during a few weeks prior to the surgery.
  • It is advisable that you get the medication indicated by the physician in advance (antibiotics, analgesics, eye drops), so that you will not have to take care of that right after the surgery.
  • Try to get some gel bags in a drugstore and have them frozen for when you get back to the hotel, or some ice bags and ice cubes ready to fill them. Cold compresses will help reduce the bruises and the swelling.
  • Do not forget a radio, a discman, or your MP3 player to keep yourself amused during the first three days.
